Client Critiques
Finally I got my new device and I can tell that it was all that I was expecting. I bought it from Amazon.com shop (not yet another seller) and when the box arrived the first thing that I checked was the model quantity and it is RCM72UW, which operates with 3G bands 850/1900/2100, so this is ATT, Rogers, Telus model...not T-Mobile model, so this is excellent news for me 'cause I use Movistar-Venezuela service. Nicely, to be honest I can not assure that Amazon.com will often be sending this distinct model given that they don't make any distinction about the 3G compatibility and believe me 'cause I expend a lot of mails to shoppers service and they couldn't give me this detailed info. I took the dangers and bought it anyway. An additional information displayed on the box: Blackberry Bold 9780 Smartphone, 1256- Americas (Spanish) QWERTY-Black. Model RCM72UW, Produced in Mexico. It comes with OS 6.. Bundle 863. NOTE: Surprisingly it came with a 2GB microSD card currently installed even when it wasn't published in the product specifics. Other info identified checking in the alternatives: active 3G bands 1, two, five y 6. Searching in the internet I discovered that this signifies that it works with 3G bands 2100/1900/850/800. The box content material is: 9780 device with plastic label protection on screen, battery cover, upper front (exactly where it's printed "Blackberry"), camera lens and flash, leather pouch (the very simple plane one, without having belt clip, the leather looks like artificial kind), earphones, battery, 5 feet USB cable (longer than the old one particular I had), normal wall charger with several international adapters (I was expecting ipod-like wall charger with female USB input, but it came with the usual a single), Desktop software CD, user manual and some fast guides.
The telephone was advertised as brand new when i bought it in early January 2011. To my surprise, I switched it on to find a thread of appreciate text messages from some guy back in Oct 2010 which of course indicates it had been utilized. The phone does appear brand new and at the moment operates devoid of any problems. It improved stay that way taking into consideration how substantially $$$$ is splashed out for the device
So after about a single month, the essential pad particularly the BB button started malfunctioning. I tried to return the telephone unfortunately, becos i moved to Africa shortly after the acquire, US customs made it challenging to return to seller. So i decided to cut my losses and shop for a new key pad which i did. It worked greater though for the BB button, it was still faulty. I then realized it was a difficulty not of the key pad, but in the underlying board.
So i've had to reside and struggle with the phone till yesterday when the screen went crazy. Now i cant see something on the screen. I'm going to have to buy a new one particular.......Lesson learned. This time, i will order straight from Blackberry or a national carrier
