Client Critiques
I have a BB Curve 8530, and this protector fit perfectly. A couple of items to note just before getting:
- I received five screen protectors rather of the three advertised (a particularly superior deal!)
- They were not packaged specifically nicely - just folded inside the packing slip, in a frequent envelope. Yet, they all arrived in excellent situation and undamaged, so I can't complain. I just expected them to be in some sort of actual factory sealed packaging.
- The protectors I received are not really the exact same as the ones in the picture. They have a cut out at the leading for the speaker, but otherwise cover the entire black component, and the light, on the top portion of the telephone. They do not cover any of the buttons the bottom is straight across, and the bottom edge is just a fraction of an inch above the frame of the trackpad (I assume it fits perfectly).
- These are NOT fancy, tough plastic, mirrored, "privacy," adhesive backed, or any other kind of screen protector - they are generally just clear window clings. They're soft, flexible, and do not have any adhesive. They come with some sort of backing, but I identified it reasonably straightforward to separate the screen protector from the backing, starting with one particular corner, and smoothing it down more than the BB screen as I removed it from the backing. As some many people have stated, this is a tight fit, so you have to be cautious to begin in a top rated corner, and line up each edges as you go. There were a couple of bubbles, but I was in a position to rub them all out with my fingernail without having damaging the protector. I in fact lifted up a corner after I had it all the way down to smooth out bubbles, and was able to lift and replace with no issue.
I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on this product, and I agree that it really is undoubtedly hard to tell what you're acquiring from the photos and description provided. Yet, if you just want a fundamental screen protector so your screen doesn't get scratched when you drop your keys or loose transform in your pocket/purse with your phone, you seriously cannot beat this price and product.
ignore all the consumers saying there are also quite a few bubbles. if you stick to the directions on the back of your order sheet that comes in the envelope it will tell you what to do to get the bubbles out, i got mine out in 5 minutes. there where a couple small ones that wouldnt come out, but like it says in the directions, the did in a couple of days. MAKE Sure THE Telephone SCREEN IS CLEAN
